Environmental Selective Extractions is a specialist consultancy company with proprietary polymer technology for the extraction and recycling of inorganic (e.g. Yttrium, Scandium, Rhenium)  and organic (e.g. Isoxaflutole, metaldehyde, disulfoton, dimethyl methylphosphonate) compounds. The designed polymers can be used to extract small quantities of valuable or harmful compounds that are currently in our environment.

ESE operates as a commercial arm of the University of Lincoln and is led by Dr Jose Gonzalez Rodriguez who has developed this technology over the past 20 years. The scientific team includes chemists and scientists, including Dr Guzman Gil-Ramirez, Samantha Williams and James Disley.
