Major Dr. Gaetano Bellia presented our research on the destruction of chemical warfare agents to a group of NATO officers during the summer congress of CIOR, CIOMR, and CISOR, held in Madrid. The presentation about the use of novel materials for an advanced effective collective protection and in situ destruction of chemical weapons was awarded the prestigious Martelet Cup for best presentation, a recognition of the significance and impact of this important work.
